I am a Registered Clinical Counsellor with a private practice office in Ladner, BC. I have more than 15 years of experience in helping people get a better understanding of what is holding them back and helping them to reconnect with a more rich and vital life.

Why Third Wave
I’m referring to what has become known as the Third Wave Behaviour Therapies. It is the evolution of Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT) to include a greater emphasis on acceptance, mindfulness, our relationships with our thoughts and feelings and the stories we have about ourselves, as well as our deeply held values.
This is all with a mind to engage with life more flexibly, with more vitality, and with greater purpose and connection.
Typically, such therapies as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) and Mindfulness-Based CBT (MB-CBT) are included in this third wave.

Who I Help
Counselling, Psychotherapy
I work with a diverse clientele ages 16 and up. I work primarily with individuals, although I welcome family members or relationship partners to join sessions with clients when it may be useful.

I have extensive training and experience working with individuals with anxiety (e.g. GAD, Panic Disorder, OCD) and mood disorders (e.g. Depression), PTSD, personality disorders, concussion/TBI and other chronic health conditions.
